Switching over to college basketball real quick with the recent happenings of last night.
How bout them Tarheels...hahahaha I love it. The all world beaters that will run the table this year and not lose a game slipped up. No surprise to me because they're not really that good they just have 2 really good players, take one away and they're nothing. I plan on seeing UNC lose 3 maybe 4 more games (Clemson, Duke, Maryland, and maybe another no name). Pitt is the new #1 and Duke moves up to the #2 spot which means absolutely nothing to me. The only ranking that matters is the final one that come out in April. UNC drops to 3 in one poll and 4 in another which is understandable. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/rankings They shouldn't remain #1 just about everyone has lost one game, Duke has lost one game. Although it wasn't to the team that was picked to finish 11th in the ACC like UNC AT HOME might i add. I MEAN REALLY
Tyler Hans-BUM: College level....I HATE him, he's awesome and he plays for the other team. Possible back to back player of the year and a night in, night out dominant player at that position. Pro level (NBA).....Garbage, trash, worthless. In the NBA he wouldn't play center he would play PF and would have to guard the likes of Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Amare Stoudemire, Dirk Nowitzki, Kenyon Martin, and several other WAAAAAY better players.
Roy Williams : Coaches at Kansas for like 73 years wins nothing but final four t-shirts and hats that I can also get a Sagesport around May every year. Then he leaves KU, inherits a UNC team that I could've coached to a nat'l championship (he deserves no credit for that nat'l champ.)
KU has never won a nat'l championship UNTIL, ooops Roy Williams leaves KU, thanks coach. Looks like KU has finally figured out what the problem was when they kept going to the final four and no further.
I have no worries as long as Roy Williams is at UNC, I fear Davidson more!!!!

You are just a Tarheel Hater!! Sure everyone knew that they wouldn't run the table. Dude, it's the ACC!!! Speaking of Duke, out of all the talent they've had and the King of Coaches, Coach "K" when was the last time they won a National Title. Tyler may not be NBA material, but name a Duke player since Grant Hill that was a true NBA player!! UNC will go futher than Duke. This lost means nothing.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever heard of Elton Brand, Carlos Boozer, and Luol Deng? Just a few names for thought. As for the bottom dweller's of the ACC, i.e. North Carolina (0-2). I would say John's right.
